Date: 25th September 2010, 6:30 PM onwards.
Venue: Wesley College Main Hall.
Rhythms of Double Blue organized by the Wesley College OBU was held on the 25th of September at the Wesley College Main Hall from 6:30pm onwards. The musical show featured 70’s music and included performances from Sri Lankan all time greats such as Annesley, Indrani Perera and Shenya Napthali, Lucky Deva, Shiraz Sudar, Meena Prasadini, Dinesh Thranaga, Sanka Dineth. Within a short period of a month, many old boys came forward in pledges towards this event.
The band was Spirit with Lucky Deva and Shiraz Sudar.
The event was presented by Events Edge Entertainment which is a company formed with a group of old boys headed by: Mr. Shehan Arooz – Director, Mr. Ishaq Samath – Event Manager, Mr. Dilan De Silva – Event Coordinator.
On the day of the event, the following liased with Events Edge Entertainment for smooth running of the show: Maithree Withanage – Key Co-ordinator, Chryshan Rodrigo – Tickets Counter, Peter Wijayasekara and Cassim Farook – Ushering and Backstage, Master of Ceremonies – Prashan Devizer.
